The Veterans Crisis Line, online chat, and text-messaging service are free to all Veterans, even if you are not registered with the VA or enrolled in VA health care. If you’re a Veteran in crisis or know a Veteran who is confidential support is only a phone call (1-800-273-8255), click, or text away (838255) —24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The VA Regional Office and Medical Center in Atlanta, GA is responsible for delivering services offered by the VA to veterans and dependent family members in Georgia.

The VA Outpatient Clinic provides mental health outpatient care, preventive health and education programs, and primary care to veterans

The VA Regional Medical Center in Augusta, GA delivers healthcare services offered by the VA to veterans in Georgia.

The Georgia Department of Veterans Service serves veterans residing in Georgia, their dependents and their survivors in matters relating to veterans benefits.

The GDVS Athens Field Office provides GDVS services to veterans, dependents, and survivors in Barrow, Clarke, Jackson, Madison, Oconee, and Oglethorpe counties. (706) 369-5630 or (706) 369-5631.
