The University of Georgia is again recognized for providing exceptional support to student veterans and their families. According to the 2026-2027 Military Friendly® survey, UGA performs extremely well in student support, retention, graduation and career outcomes – scoring above 95 percent in these areas.

Awarding more than $165,000 in scholarships to 142 student veterans this fall, the SVRC Scholarship Ceremony highlighted the impressive growth in veteran enrollment and the heightened impact these scholarships have on UGA’s veterans and service members.

Chris King and Dan Triplett have been recognized as among the nation’s top student veterans for their excellence as leaders in their communities.  

G.I. Jobs Magazine named King and Triplett in their 2024 Student Veteran Leadership Awards.
